Grown Ups

Parents/Caregivers

Kia koi! Kei were!
Keep your kids safe!

Your children depend on you to protect them from the sun.

It's important that you know what you need to do to keep them safe:

SLIP

on a long sleeve t-shirt and slip into some shade especially between 11 am and 4 pm.

SLOP

on SPF 30+ broad spectrum sunscreen on areas not covered by clothing 15 minutes before you go outdoors. Sunscreen should be reapplied every 2 hours and after physical activity, and towel drying.

SLAP

on a hat that keeps the sun off your face and neck.

WRAP

on some sunglasses to protect your eyes.

REMEMBER - kids love to copy the grown-ups so you need to SLIP SLOP SLAP and WRAP as well!
